How did you first get involved in athletics?

“I first started in a multi-event athletics group at the age of 9 after enjoying athletics at school. I was soon introduced to the hammer throw by my coaches, who competed in the event themselves, and they inspired my initial enjoyment for the event. I have been training and competing ever since and have an amazing network of people who encourage me on my athletic journey.”

What club and school/college are you associated to?

“My athletics club is Worthing Harriers AC, and my college is BHASVIC.”

What event do you compete in?

“Hammer.”

What has been your proudest moment in athletics so far?

“Representing England and winning the Schools International for a second year was a big highlight of my 2024 season. Winning the UK School Games this season alongside an amazing group of throwers was another unforgettable achievement.”

What are your long-term goals in athletics?

“My long-term goals are to continually improve my performance so that I can compete at the highest level possible and to continue enjoying my training. To achieve these goals, I aim to participate in a range of competitions to gain experience in the sport and create lasting memories that keep me motivated.”

Who are your role models in athletics?

“Anna Purchase is one of my athletic role models as she has an amazing range of achievements in the event, which I aspire to, and is extremely dedicated. I hope to follow in her footsteps in my senior career.”

What does being a Kukri Sports YTP Ambassador mean to you?

“I am very honoured and grateful to be selected as a Kukri Ambassador and am really looking forward to working with a brand that is so connected to athletics.”
