THE ROLE

The Stock Controller will support the purchasing department in managing inventory and purchasing merchandise based on the customer and company’s needs.

You will look to increase profitability and effectiveness by maintaining stock levels of products at all times.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock

Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling any discrepancies.

Analyse sales trends, customer demand, and market conditions to forecast future inventory needs and make informed purchasing decisions.

Enter purchase details (vendors information, invoices and pricing) into internal databases

Generate accurate reports on stock levels, stock movements, and stock valuation on a regular basis for management review

Establish and maintain effective working relations with all external vendors ensuring clear and concise communication

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

Proven work experience as a Stock Controller or similar role

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve inventory-related issues.

Good understanding of supply chain procedures

Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Excellent project management skills.

Ability to problem solve and to provide solutions while managing several projects at once.

Effective communicator and negotiator.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Results-oriented and flexible in a fast-paced environment

Willing to embrace and implement change within a team environment

Salary negotiable based on experience
