Josh Drain, a rising rugby star and a key player for Bahrain RFC, proudly joins as a brand ambassador for Kukri Sports. A dynamic fly-half and full-back, Josh has quickly made a name for himself with his impressive playing style and determination. Having previously played for Ulster, where he experienced the performance and quality of Kukri kit first-hand, Josh is excited to now represent the brand in the Middle East.
Josh’s rugby journey began at Ballymena Rugby Club before progressing through the Ulster Schools Programme. He later played for Northumberland under 20s and has built a solid career in rugby. Some of his memorable moments include winning the Medallion Cup at U16 level and claiming a league title with Northumberland. After moving to Bahrain RFC in July, Josh has embraced the challenges of his new environment, and he is eager to continue his growth as a player.
As an ambassador for Kukri Sports, Josh is focused on promoting rugby and inspiring others to embrace the sport’s fun and energising nature. His goal is to show the world the positive energy that rugby brings, both on and off the field. With an eye on the future, Josh is passionate about giving back to the rugby community and using his platform to inspire the next generation of athletes.
