Kukri Sports is proud to announce the extension of its successful partnership with the UK Sports Institute (UKSI), reinforcing Kukri’s commitment to supporting elite athletes across the UK with high-performance, sustainable sportswear.
Since the partnership began in 2022, Kukri has served as the Official Kit Supplier to UKSI, providing bespoke apparel for over 400 staff across multiple centres nationwide. This collaboration has been instrumental in delivering high-quality, functional, and inclusive kit solutions tailored to the needs of practitioners supporting Olympic, Paralympic, and Commonwealth sports.
A notable highlight of the partnership has been a ongoing sustainability initiative and started in 2024, where Kukri and UKSI successfully recycled 1,274 kilograms of legacy kit, saving 585kg of carbon emissions—the equivalent of driving 1,379 miles in a standard petrol car or charging 65,444 smartphones.
