Monty Neave, a rising star in British hockey, is a proud ambassador for Kukri Sports. A driven and determined athlete, Monty’s hockey journey began at the age of 12 in his hometown of Berkshire. From early setbacks—missing out on county selection and navigating the challenges of the pandemic—he has demonstrated unwavering resilience and dedication to his sport.
Now a first-year Psychology student at Loughborough University, a long-standing university partner of Kukri, Monty competes for the Loughborough Men’s Hockey team and is part of the Great Britain Elite Development Programme. His standout performances have earned him a place in the England U21 squad, and he was a key player in the 18-man Great Britain team that won the Sultan of Johor Cup in October 2024.
Off the pitch, Monty is equally passionate about growth and connection. Eager to explore the world of sports marketing, he embraces his role as a Kukri ambassador with enthusiasm and professionalism. His story is one of perseverance, potential, and purpose—an exciting athlete who truly embodies Kukri’s ethos to ‘Unleash Greatness.’
