This year Kukri Sports proudly marks the culmination of over 10 years of partnership with Dubai College, a leading education provider in the Middle East. This enduring partnership not only reinforces the strong bond between two entities dedicated to excellence but also establishes new benchmarks in sportswear tailored for educational institutions.
While the partnership has consistently delivered sportswear ranges across the College’s diverse sporting offerings, this year signifies a significant milestone with the comprehensive revamp and upgrade of the entire Physical Education range. The latest enhancements include an improved fit profile and upgraded fabric meticulously designed to meet the demands of the Dubai climate, providing lightweight comfort and superior breathability.
At the heart of this partnership is a commitment to offering products that align with the needs of active students, ensuring that the sportswear enhances rather than hinders their physical activities. The overwhelmingly positive response from pupils, parents, and staff underscores the success of this collaborative effort.
A testament to the efficiency of our collaboration is the seamless processing of over 1,500 orders through Kukri’s online platform in 2023 to date. These orders were dispatched swiftly, reaching individual addresses across the emirates within an impressive 72 hours. This achievement underscores Kukri Sports’ commitment to providing a market-leading provision to its partners, including Dubai College.
As we celebrate a decade of partnership, Kukri Sports and Dubai College eagerly anticipate continuing to raise the bar in sportswear innovation, enriching the experiences of students both in the classroom and on the sports field.

As the Welsh Trampoline/DMT Championships edge closer, Kukri Sports recently sat down with accomplished trampoline gymnast, India Marshall, as she shared an insight into her gymnastics journey and aspirations in an exclusive interview.
Reflecting on her journey in gymnastics, India said, “I saw it on TV and just decided to take it on and have loved it ever since.” This love for the sport has driven her to impressive heights, including a standout moment in 2016 when she triumphed to claim Individual and Team Gold at the Junior Commonwealth Championships in Namibia.
“I was shocked because I was against other women who were incredible and didn’t think I stood a chance, but winning the team medal for Wales was an amazing feeling with a great group of girls.”
The upcoming Welsh Trampoline/DMT Championships, which will take place at Sport Wales on Sunday 10 December, hold special importance for India, who shared her preparation strategy ahead of the event. “Leading up to the Championships, I have been really focusing on developing confidence and competence linking multiple doubles and increasing my height.
“My main skill-based goals are to increase my confidence and increase my time of flight. I have been working a lot this year on my competition mindset and figuring out what works for me in terms of focus and preparation.”
India also emphasised the importance of mental aspects of competition preparation, stating, “Finding enjoyment outside of training and making time for myself has also been imperative in maintaining focus throughout the last 5 weeks of competition prep.
“In trampolining, you have to be so patient and trust the process, things don’t happen at the click of a finger. You have to be disciplined, keep going and turning up to training and if things aren’t going right, take a step back and go again.”
As she approaches the Championships, India remains focused on her goals, both in terms of skills and mindset. “I just want to keep enjoying and loving it. I want to keep going and pushing myself, hopefully compete in more Internationals in the future, and the Olympics would be awesome too.
“I love the sport and love competing, so reminding myself I have the choice to turn up to training every day helps me maintain my focus and discipline.
“Learning isn’t linear, and knowing I train and compete because I want to is a massive factor in my motivation.
“As long as I’m enjoying it and my body allows me to do it, I’ll keep going.”

This year, eleven of Kukri Sports’ partners, based in the Middle East, will be competing in the Dubai Sevens Tournament. As their official Kit supplier, Kukri has played a crucial role in facilitating the participation of their partner’s teams.
Starting on 1 December, the Dubai Sevens is annual sporting event held at The Sevens Stadium in Dubai, UAE. Find out more about the Dubai Sevens
A number of Kukri partners are competing in the tournament, such as Bahrain RFC, Dubai College & Victoria International School.
A proud achievement from last year’s tournament was the success of our partner Dubai College, when their U19 Girls Team were crowned Gulf U19 Girls winners in their first year competing in the tournament.

In the lead up to this year’s prestigious event, Kukri faced various challenges:
Design Challenges
Kukri are renowned for an ability to create truly bespoke designs across multiple sports. This year posed a special challenge as the team was tasked with developing distinct kit on and off-field designs for each of the partner’s teams, spanning rugby, netball, and cricket, whilst catering for various age groups.
Collaborating closely with the partners, the design team meticulously crafted concepts that precisely aligned with the specific needs of each participating team, combining innovation with cutting-edge designs. In total, the projects resulted in the creation of 24 individual kit designs for the tournament.
Production Challenges
The team also faced the task of producing limited production runs exclusively for the participating teams, all within demanding time constraints of only two weeks.
To meet this challenge, they collaborated diligently with print factories in the UK, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products within flexible timelines.

“We are incredibly excited to support our partners at this years’ Dubai Sevens tournament,” said Chris Marshall, Global Brand Director at Kukri Sports. “We have been working closely with them to understand the performance requirements of the garments and at the same time capture the unique identity of each individual team.
Our sportswear is designed to help athletes reach their full potential, and we are proud to provide our partners with cutting-edge training and match wear they need to thrive throughout the tournament.”
We wish our partners competing the best of luck and are proud to fuel their journey towards greatness in Dubai’s most prestigious competition.

Irish professional boxer and Kukri Sports’ ambassador, Kieran Molloy, marked his U.S. debut in style with a stunning round 1 technical knockout victory.
On a memorable night for Molloy’s camp, the exciting prospect pushed his slate to 7-0 as a professional in Boston when he stopped opponent, Daniel Sostre, in the first round.
Molloy, an Irish professional boxer who continues to impress, rose to prominence in the amateur scene with 202 wins in 221 fights, which included 11x National Champion, 3x Irish Elite Champion and an EU Bronze medallist, as well as a Youth European and World medallist, all by the age of 23.
Reflecting on a special night, Molloy expressed his gratitude, saying, “I felt right at home. The support was fantastic, and to top it off with a first-round technical knockout as well was the icing on the cake.
“Kukri made a very special kit for the fight that showed the Irish & American flag, which everyone loved. The support was incredible, and I think we can continue to make big moves on the east coast moving forward.”
Molloy, who has been boxing since he was 5 years old, joined Kukri as an ambassador in March 2022 and remains confident on achieving his ultimate goal.
“It’s nice to feel that all the hard work has paid off with quick victories like that. These nights are all stepping stones towards the ultimate goal of becoming world champion.
“Kukri have been incredibly helpful for providing me with high-quality training gear during camp and also tracksuits for myself and my team during fight week. It always feels nice to have my team wearing gear that looks professional.”
Reflecting on the preparations ahead of his bout, Molloy heaped the praise on the work of his coach. “My coach Angel Fernandez always has a great structure in training for myself to focus on the game plan, and also the mental/conditioning side so that we’re ready for whatever may come in fights.”
“The game plan was to go hard to the body first to break him down. After I landed about two hard blows clean, I could see in his eyes that he didn’t want to be there, so I upped the tempo that eventually overwhelmed him and he could not continue after two knockdowns.”
Looking ahead to an exciting future, Molloy revealed all on his plans over the coming months.
“I’ll be fighting in my home city on 1 December in Salthill for the Irish welterweight title. This will hopefully be my first title as a professional boxer, official announcement and opponent will all be revealed soon.”
Kukri would like to congratulate Kieran Molloy on his impressive win and look forward to supporting him throughout his career in the world of boxing.
As a leading sportswear supplier, we remain dedicated to supporting athletes in their pursuit of greatness, and we are proud to stand by Kieran as he continues his incredible journey.
