Kukri clad England netballer players joined dozens of pupils from around the North West to break the current Guinness World Record to score over 100 goals in the space of an hour.

The record itself was completely smashed in less than 30 minutes - the record breaking goal netted by England player Jo Harten and 257 goals were scored within the hour.

The World Record attempt was all about speading the word about the Co-operative World Netball Series - a three day international netball event taking place at the M.E.N Arena between the 9th and 11th October.

The top six netball nations will take part and netball fans from across the country are being urged to buy their tickets NOW to avoid disappointment.

Lots of Kukri goodies will be on sale at the event - so make sure you bring lots pocket money!
