WALES hope to use their experiences in the recent home internationals to their advantage when they tour America this summer.
The Welsh head off to Annapolis in July for the All Star Express tournament and performance director Gemma Morgan knows there will be some tough games ahead.
"Lacrosse in America is semi-professional level and there will be some good games for us out there," she said.
"We will training meet again in June and should be in reasonable shape for the tour. We have named the 18 girls and are looking forward to it.
"The tournament is attended by loads of scouts who recruit players for university scholarships. We hope to be at senior college level and then the next step is to get to university level."
The squad completed a training day at military college Sandhurst before the home internationals in Edinburgh.
The girls completed a tough day over a challenging assault course, with team bonding one of the objectives.
The star-spangled Wales tour sees them in action on the East Coast between July 12 and 15.
