The glory of the team's 2011 achievements might still be sinking in for some - but there's no rest for the wicked, and Lancashire CCC are back in training ahead of the 2012 season as they bid to defend their Championship.

Peter Moores' men won the LV= County Championship last season - for the first time in 77 years!

And now, after a whirlwind few months with trips to Buckingham Palace, visits to football grounds with the trophy, and civic receptions, attention turns to the 2012 season, which gets underway with a trip to Abu Dhabi in late March.

Coach Moores said, "It's sinking in slowly (winning the Championship), but we've not got much time to dwell on it because we're back into it now. We're looking forward to next season and winning it again."
